We offer a range of group exercise classes for all abilities. From gentle Yoga and Pilates through to fast paced Box-fit and Cardio-Jam we offer something for everyone. All our classes are available to non-members. Click here for a full current timetable.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm new to exercise classes, will I be out of my comfort zone?
Breathe easy, all of our classes are designed to make you feel part of the group and not singled out. If you are shy tuck yourself at the back of the class and work at your own level. Your teacher will offer a range of different exercise options to allow you to customise the exercises to your ability.
What should I wear?
We are not a fashion show, so wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and suitable sports footwear that offers you grip and support. If you need advice about suitable footwear please call us.
I have a old injury, can I still join the class?
On your first visit to us we will advise you to arrive 5 minutes early to fill in a health screening form. Your teacher will discuss with you any previous injuries or illness with you before the class starts. Of course, if you are pregnant, have had recent injuries or illness or have heart problems please call us to discuss before you start.
How much does the class cost?
Adult classes are payable termly which works out to be £8 per class.
Do I have to commit to a full term?
Not initially. We recommend that you have your first class as a trial class for £8. If you enjoy the class the terms fee will be due with the trial session deducted. You can join the term at any point and we will deduct the prior classes from the terms fees.
I normally get very hot in a class, do you have air-conditioning?
We have air conditioning in the gym and studio which keeps a constant 18 degree temperature during our high-energy classes. For the less active classes like Yoga and Pilates we keep the room at normal room temperature 21 degrees. Of course, we also open the windows and doors too to circulate fresh air too.
I will be coming straight from work, do you have changing rooms?
We have private ladies and gentlemen's changing rooms with personal showers. We supply towels, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryers and lockers for free. The small and private nature of our facilities mean that we offer clean and comfortable surroundings at all times.

Yoga
Specific movement including both mind and body. Excellent for stress relief, improving flexibility, strength and contributing towards general well being.
Pilates
Balance your mind and body with Pilates. Core conditioning and strength work is taken to the next level with this group class. Persistent back, neck or hip pain or not? Then this class is for you.
Box-Fit
A high intensity circuit based class suitable for all abilities. Skipping, boxing, medicine balls, stability balls or used in this fast paced punchy class!
Cardio-Jam
A great aerobic workout to music followed by strength and toning exercises, including the Abdominals and finishing with a great stretch. Extremely motivating and enjoyable class.
